Music Education and Missions VI (ATS 368)

Music Education and Missions VI is an intensive leadership and teacher training course in instrumental music, ministry, and missions following on from Music Education and Missions V. This course is designed for the student who has a passion for reaching the orphaned, abandoned, refugee, and at-risk children and young people of the world through instrumental music education, evangelism, and discipleship – equipping them to be musical ambassadors with a life-changing message for their own people and the nations of the world.

Music Education and Missions V and Field Assignment (ATS 367 / ATS 369)

Music Education and Missions 5 is an intensive leadership and teacher training course in instrumental music education, ministry, and missions. This course is designed for the student who has a passion for reaching the orphaned, abandoned, refugee, and at-risk children and young people of the world through instrumental music education, evangelism, and discipleship – equipping them to be musical ambassadors with a life-changing message for their own people and the nations of the world.

Music Education and Missions IV and Field Assignment (ATS 363 / ATS 364)

This course is designed for the student who has a passion for reaching the orphaned, abandoned, refugee, and at-risk children and young people of the world through instrumental music education, evangelism, and discipleship – equipping them to be musical ambassadors with a life-changing message for their own people and the nations of the world. The main focus instrument of this course is the violin.

Music Education and Missions III and Field Assignment (ATS 362 / ATS 364)

Music Education and Missions III is an intensive leadership and teacher training course in instrumental music education, ministry, and missions. This course is designed for the student who has a passion for reaching the orphaned, abandoned, refugee, and at-risk children and young people of the world through instrumental music education, evangelism, and discipleship – equipping them to be musical ambassadors with a life-changing message for their own people and the nations of the world. This training course is also designed to equip the student to be a qualified teacher/discipler in YWAM Symphony of Hope – an international YWAM ministry founded by Doug McClure.

School of Dance II and Field Assignment (ATS 317 / ATS 318)

Following the School of Dance II (or following ATS 117 in Brazil) this field assignment will give students opportunity to experience and minister with what they have been learning in the studio. It will build on the previous School of Dance modules.

Music Education and Missions II and Field Assignment (ATS 264 / ATS 265)

Music Education and Missions II is also an intensive leadership and teacher training course in instrumental music, ministry, and missions following on from Music Education and Missions I. This course is designed for the student who has a passion for reaching the orphaned, abandoned, refugee, and at-risk children and young people of the world through instrumental music education, evangelism, and discipleship – equipping them to be musical ambassadors with a life-changing message for their own people and the nations of the world. The main focus instrument of this course is the violin.

The Music Education and Missions I & II Field Assignment is the combined outreach Field Assignment for both Music Education and Missions I and Music Education and Missions II. The field assignment is designed as a practical outreach that will utilize all of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes learned in Music Education and Missions I & II.

Music Education and Missions I and Field Assignment (ATS 263 / ATS 265)

Music Education and Missions I is an intensive leadership and teacher training course in instrumental music education, ministry, and missions. This course is designed for the student who has a passion for reaching the orphaned, abandoned, refugee, and at-risk children and young people of the world through instrumental music education, evangelism, and discipleship – equipping them to be musical ambassadors with a life-changing message for their own people and the nations of the world.

School of Illustration Practicum I (ATS/CMC 256)

The practicum will provide a working experience tailored to the student’s area of interest. They will learn multiple media techniques as well as the business and ministry aspects of multiple fields of illustration. Students will be able to create Illustrations from basics of drawings to concept to presentation of Artwork, working with clients.

School of Illustration (ATS/CMC 255)

In this course students are trained by professional illustrators and staff in the commercial art fields such as: children’s book illustration, animation, editorial computer design, magazine covers, packaging, medical illustration, movie posters and product illustration. Some topics covered are: drawing, composition, conceptual illustration, biblical foundations of the arts, color theory, portfolio development, perspective, painting techniques and freelance business.

School of Acting for the Screen (ATS/CMC 231)

Students are introduced to the craft of screen acting from a biblical perspective, studying techniques from Stanislavsky’s System and Strasberg’s Method to Meisner’s Approach. This school runs alongside the School of Digital Filmmaking, allowing students to practice their newly acquired skills in short films. The school provides a wide understanding of the film and television industry, including the personal struggles and challenges encountered in that context.
