Among the topics covered are: history of the circus and its role in society, the artist’s heart, calling and legacy, and biblical worldview of art. In the same way, they will gain experience in creation and presentation of spectacle, juggling techniques, acrobatics and aerial (aerial silk, aerial hoop and trapeze); in the same way they will learn the assembly, disassembly and locomotion of the circus.
During the Field Assignment students will have opportunity to creatively apply principles and techniques learned in the lecture phase of this course, in the context of live performances.
Fashion Design Seminar (ATS 125)

We aim to model for fashion designers, stylists, and bloggers how to use fashion to reach out to people in all spheres of society. We also aim to break down structure-based limitations and curriculum barriers. We attempt to make YWAM more open and inclusive for a broader expression of the body of Christ to be able to experience a missional lifestyle through this sphere of influence in society. Our desire is to bring light into the field of fashion.
During the internship, we will explore how we can do fashion for the kingdom of God, embrace and grow in our identity as artists, and how we can use fashion to have an impact in the fashion industry.
We will go through the process of creating clothes from designing to making, and we will create pieces and collections that reflect what we believe in and what God puts on our hearts to communicate to the people around us.
