Hospitality Ministry Seminar (ATS 143)

While affirming the ministry of hospitality as an expression of God’s character and the value of people, this seminar is an expression of a belief in the importance of opening our hearts, homes and campuses to serve and honor one another, our guests, and the poor and needy, not as acts of social protocol, but as expressions of the value of generosity. In this seminar, hospitality from a Biblical foundation will be explored with a consideration of responses to questions such as, “Why do we value Hospitality? What does Hospitality look like cross-culturally? How do we prepare for a guest speaker?” and many other related questions.
