As Cultural Producers, we have worked with artists from Botswana, South Africa, Mozambique, UK, Barbados, Mauritius, Malawi, Portugal, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, USA and Zambia.
We have been part of two projects which allowed arts and cultural organizations to raise their profiles whilst individual artists earned and extended their partnership networks by collaboratively showcasing their craft. These two projects are DigiPoems and Scripts and Bars. We curated DigiPoems as a lead partner from 2019 to 2021. DigiPoems is an amalgamation of poetry and digital art from southern Africa and the UK in the form of a combination of various content forms like text, audio, images, video, animations and interactive content for the creation of new work. It brought together 18-35 year-old poets, graphic novelists, animators, creative writers and illustrators to allow for cross-sector collaboration.
We have worked with over 35 organizations in the last 5 years: BBC Contains Strong Language, Apples and Snakes UK, British Council in the UK and in over 8 nations, Coventry & Warwick University, Writing West Midlands, Coventry City of Culture, Nine Arches Press, Voluntary Arts, Reprezent UK, A:ste Ah’syl’ahm Botswana, Slam Emporium SA, Moz Slam, Afrika Creatives Hub Network, AfriDigital, Bitter Sweet Poetry, Moto Republik, Shoko Festival, ComExposed, American Embassy, Alliance Francaise De Harare, Pamberi Trust, Theatre in the Park, Litfest Harare, Intwasa Festival, Kites For Peace Festival, Tamba Africa Circus, Nguwo Apotheca, Incubator Zw, Jibilika, Nhimbe Trust, Equip International and Colour Culture Arts Zambia to name a few.
