Seminars – Seminars are 1-6 credits and are open to those that have not yet completed a DTS.
Field Assignment – A Field Assignment is linked to a previous lecture course where the students take their learning as a team (or occasionally an individual) to a new location in a different setting from the classroom. A Post-DTS Field Assignment can be up to 12 credits. Seminar field assignments can be up to 6 credits.
Practicum – A Practicum is a ‘hands on’ learning experience linked to a previous lecture course, or an integrated learning experience with both classroom and practical components. This is usually a group activity working together on a practical application. A practicum can be 1-12 credits.
Internship – Students work individually with supervision and precise goals in a professional setting related to their training or ministry. An internship can be 1-12 credits. An internship can either be linked to a previous course, or it can function as an integrative internship towards the end of a student’s degree program to integrate what they have learned.
